- I fell in love with these glittering little charms when our family spent the summer trooping around with my husband, who recovers shipwrecks for museums and governments, along the shores and hills of Turkey. It was a magical time. The kids and I passed our days swimming in the blue waters in the shadow of red earth mountains jutting straight up from the sea floor, and Dad’s boat would pass along the horizon every few hours as he explored the ocean floor. My husband and I spent long evenings drinking mint tea and watching the light of the crescent moon, with Venus sparkling by its side, dance across the waters of the Aegean.
